Kui asuda elektriliste päikesepaneelidega vett soojendama on tarvis ahela takistust muuta vastavat paneelidele langeva valguse tugevusega. Selleks on loodud isegi vastav toode.
Õnnetuseks on toode mõeldud ~500W paneelidele.
Specs:
Absolute Maximum Voltage: 250V DC
Abs Max Current: 20A (larger box / mount to extra heat sink required for max amps)
Typical Operating Current: 8A @ 70V (only voltage goes up with more panels)
Insertion Efficiency: 97% (pass through)
Switch: High tech, latest technology IGBT (mosfet) 80A at 1200V (over designed)
IGBT Gate Drive: 15V, hard off/on for maximum efficiency and quick switching
Microprocessor CPU Controlled MPPT with constant adjustment
Recommended solar panel "sticker" wattage, unit in box: Around 440W "48V" (2 x "24V")
Heating Element: Standard 240/208V 4500/3380W or others tested, see [ tests page ]
Load Type: Resistive loads only (no reactive loads like motors or anything with coils)
Wire Size: 12 AWG minimum to the element, BX cable, 5 ft max length, shorter is better
Must be mounted in a Eaton box or other larger box/piece of metal for a extra heat sink.
Always use a thermostat on any element! For indoor use only. Not for use with batteries.
Minu plaan on soetada ~3000W jagu paneele ja kütta otse keskkütte akumulatsioonipaaki ~5000l. Sinna on praegu installeeritud 6kW tenn, avariikütteks.
Kas leiduks mõni meister, kes kalkuleeriks 6kW sarnase kontrolleri valmistamise hinna ja oleks ehk isegi valmis seda meisterdama. Seade peaks olema arvestatud üpris pikaealisena. Paneelid on ju hooldevabad, 25a pärast 80% võimsusest. Kogu projekti mõte ongi hoolevaba küttelahendus pensionieaks. Esialgu mitte põhikütteks ent paneele saab tasapisi juurde osta.
